FORGIVE AND FORGET

In the Sermon on the mount Jesus said: “Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:12. In verses 14-15 Jesus says: “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will NOT forgive your sins.” How can we forgive and forget? An article in National Geographic entitled: “Why learning to forget is an Underrated still.” The article farther states: “We start to forget as soon as we begin to remember.” God has given us the ability to have control over what we choose to remember. Our brains have been designed that way. Because we are human it is still difficult for us, but God has designed our brains so that we can. Please read the article in the above link.
