I do not remember if I answered this letter or not. I think he must have sent it to all 3 of us. It is apparent he was friends with us and he was a great guy. As of June , 2026 when I found this letter and I have tried to find Stefano on the Aggie reconnect page, but have been unable to do so. If his wife was pregnant, he/she would be in their late 50’s now. Very nice letter from him. Considering the length of time, I am sure he is deceased by now, but he did have children that may be alive. As far as I know, I never sent him any petrified wood. Go back and look at the stamp on his envelope and you will see it is a stamp of Fermi. Fermi was an Italian-American physicist.
